“It’s cool to be broken? That’s what they’re selling now.” – Meesha, Midnight Truths: Episode 1
Midnight Truths: Meesha Speaks the Uncomfortable Truth.
It’s here. After weeks of mystery, subtle statements, and powerful performances, Meesha is finally speaking out about something important and it needs to be heard.
The debut episode of our new video series Midnight Truths has just dropped — and it’s not for the faint of heart.
Episode 1, titled “Cool to be Broken,” takes direct aim at the emotional dysfunction being sold as an aesthetic in modern pop culture. In just over two minutes, Meesha strips away the gloss and dives into what she sees as the toxic messaging pushed especially toward young girls: the idea that pain, instability, and chaos make you interesting. Even desirable.
Spoiler: She’s not buying it. And neither are we.
The Real Meesha—Unfiltered
You’ve seen her wrapped in metaphor and melody. Now get ready for the version of Meesha that doesn’t hide behind production. Midnight Truths is raw, shot in dark hues and close cuts, giving fans a chance to meet the mind behind the music.
In Episode 1, Meesha doesn’t just critique a trend—she questions an entire machine:
- Why are female artists pressured to publicize their pain?
- Why is emotional chaos romanticized for girls but criticized in others?
- And what happens when young fans start mimicking that brokenness—just to belong?
About Midnight Truths
Each episode in this limited video series features Meesha confronting the stories, pressures, and industry patterns that too many artists avoid—or are told to avoid. You can expect honesty, discomfort and something very different from what you’re used to from a rising pop artist. Because Meesha isn’t trying to be palatable. She’s trying to be true.
